IT Six is currently engaged in educational projects that facilitate, through partnerships with the local technical Faculties, the bridge between the academic environment and the modern global IT market requirements. The students from the technical faculties in Craiova attend paid internship programs in our offices.

What is IT Six Academy?
It is a program of recruiting and training which aims to train groups of students in software engineering, informatics, and Project Management with the object of developing an exceptional career at IT Six Global Services.
The program proposes to complement the knowledge accumulated during classes at the University with notions and abilities required in the software industry and to develop practical and teamwork skills so that the students become accustomed to the standards of meeting the deadlines of real projects.
Trainings
.NET Training
- Some hours of theory and some "laboratory" hours
- Assistance in building .NET Web and Desktop Applications with C#
- Communication and personal development training
The training covers the following topics:
- .NET Framework 2.0 and an overview of framework 3.5
- The C# language using Visual Studio 2005
- Windows Forms
- Data Access
- Data Binding
- Security
- Threading
Java Training:
- IT Six trainers involved in training preparation, teaching, and assistance;
- Simulation of the Java certification exam at the end of the training;
Feedback:
- Very good feedback from trainees (feedback forms, final evaluation);
- All trainees will have gained solid Java programming knowledge.
Each course is backed up with examples. The trainers are professionals that are employees of IT Six with solid experience in development of projects for a wide range of customers.
Internships:
IT Six, with the support of IT Six Academy, organizes internships for all IT students with an interest in technological areas that define the current trend and in developing a career in IT. These practical sessions are planned based on specific technologies in one of our departments: .Net, Java, SQL, Oracle, C/C++, Flex/ActionScript, QA/Testing, Web Design, System Engineering/System Administration..
Senior developers at IT Six are involved in these practical sessions. They can help trainees obtain and improve their technical knowledge.
The sessions are based on the following terms:
- The trainee (student of an IT faculty) is interested in building a career in IT; IT Six will offer recommendations and/or guidance for his/her future professional development;
- The target of these coaching sessions is defined together with the coach;
- The trainee is committed to acquire knowledge based on the schedule defined together with the coach;
- There will be 1-2 appointments per week, of about 30 minutes each, where the attendees will discuss the progress of the coaching-session(s) and define the targets for the next time interval with focus set on the ultimate goal;
- There will be no special framework defined for testing the knowledge acquired in this interval;
- The availability of the developers as well as other issues that may come up on the way allow for the coaching to be stopped, either by IT Six or the trainee.
