This year again, IT Six is a co-exhibitor on the Romanian booth at SYSTEMS, the biggest regional IT event in Germany, the leading B-2-B trade show for IT, Media and Communications.
The event attracts more than 1000 exhibitors from around 30 countries as well as more than 50000 visitors. SYSTEMS addresses business and technical decision-makers in commercial enterprises and the public sector. Its customer-orientation and innovative exhibition concept represents the needs of both small and medium-sized enterprises and major corporations.
During the event (between October 21st and October 24th, Munich, Germany), IT Six Global Services will present its lines of business in the Romanian National Stand, Hall A2, Stand 312.
Potential business generated by new contacts with not only German but also Swiss, Swedish, Danish and Austrian companies will consolidate IT Six's position as a global provider of offshore nearshore outsourcing services in Europe.

IT SIX Global Services represents Romanian IT sector in Sweden
IT Six Global Services was selected to be part of the Romanian Economic delegation which will visit Sweden in the period March 11th – 13th 2008. The Romanian president, Traian Basescu, and the invited companies are visiting Sweden between March 11th and 13rd, having been previously invited by King Carl Gustaf XVI. This economic delegation will analyze the business opportunities between the two countries. IT Six will represent the Romanian IT sector together with other 3 companies.
IT Six will meet the Foreign Trade Swedish Council as well as the managers of some important Swedish companies and will take part in the Romanian-Swedish Economic Forum. On this occasion, the CEO of IT Six, Sorin Gavanescu will underline the positive evolution of the IT&C sector and also of our company, taking into consideration aspects related to our turnover, number of employees, IT Six portfolio and our lines of business.
As Sweden is already on IT Six business map, this visit in Stockholm was a very good moment to tighten the relations with our customers and partners on the Scandinavian market.

PeopleSoft technologies in Romania brought by IT Six Global Services
The setting up of a dedicated software division based on PeopleSoft technologies is a very important moment for the largest software development company in Oltenia.
Craiova, October 16th, 2007. In October 2007 IT Six Global Services has started the partnership for the development and maintenance of PeopleSoft products through a co-operation with an important American partner. The IT staff will deal with customizing the already existing applications as well as developing new modules that improve the performances of the products already implemented at the client’s headquarters. The installation, configuration and maintenance of the PeopleSoft applications are part of the range of offered services.
„From the early stages of the company, IT Six was involved in bringing in Romania technologies less popular in the country, but highly demanded worldwide. Today, we are one of the very few companies that offer Legacy Systems expertise (IBM Mainframes) and, more recently, PeopleSoft and Remote Infrastructure Management services. The PeopleSoft division offers both development services and remote administration of existing applications based on these technologies. IT Six Global Services will be a part of the Romanian delegation at the "Gartner Symposium/Expo ITxpo Fall", Orlando, between October 7th and 12th, 2007. The Romanian Association for Electronic and Software Industry (ARIES), in conjunction with the Romanian Ministry for SME's, Commerce, Tourism & Liberal Professions, will be leading a delegation of 12 Romanian-based IT companies for the second time at Gartner Symposium ITxpo, which will be held in Orlando, Florida.
Some of Romania’s most innovative companies will attend the conference. Last year, Romania IT and IT Six had their first presence at Gartner events.

IT Six Global Services at the Romanian-Finnish Business Summit
Bucharest, September 5th. On September 5th, IT Six took part in the Romanian-Finnish Business Summit, having been accepted by important Finnish companies such as Nokia, Eltel, HansaPrint, Automaster a.s.o for face–to-face meetings. The main purpose of the summit was to develop trade and economic relations between Romanian and Finnish companies. We had the chance to showcase IT Six’s business expertise and technical competency while encouraging the development of trade relations between the two countries. Finland has one of the best performing economies in the EU and Europe. The main Finnish industries are the paper industry, electronics (especially information technology and mobile communications), and metal and engineering.

Between August 31st and September 1st, 2007, IT Six took part in the program Knowledge based economy - assertive pillar of economic, social cohesion in the cross-border region - exhibition: "Innovation and IT in Oltenia-Vidin cross-border zone". The event was organized by ARIES Oltenia and gathered IT companies from Romania and Bulgaria. Between April 22nd - April 26th, 2007, IT Six will take part in the Gartner Symposium, ITxpo Emerging Trends - San Francisco, having been selected for the second time around by the American and the Romanian authorities to be present at Gartner events. The Gartner events are a reference point for the international IT community, because they entail the participation of the upper management of the world’s largest corporations as well as the government representatives.
The following days, April 26th - April 27th, in San Francisco, It Six Global Services will take part as a sponsor and Keynote Speaker in the "Investing in & Partnering with Romanian Technology Companies" conference, a unique event organized by the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce (RACC), MEC, MCTI and the Romanian Association for Electronics and Software Industry (ARIES). January 15th, 2007. IT SIX Global Services organized a press conference at its headquarters in Craiova, underlying the most remarkable achievements during the last months. The guest of honour was the President of the Education, Science, Youth and Sports Committee within the Romanian Senate, Prof. Dr. Irinel Popescu. October 21st – 27th, 2006. IT SIX Global Services participated at SYSTEMS 2006, in Munich, Germany. SYSTEMS represents an important hub between the East and the West of ICT world map. It is a very good oportunity for new EU countries, such as Romania, to increase awareness on Romanian IT. SYSTEMS addresses decision-makers in large, medium-size and small corporations alike.
